What this covers
How taweez.online handles the information you give us when you browse, order, or create an account.
What we collect
- Your contact details — name, email address, and the postal address and phone number needed to send your order.
- The details each taweez is written for — the name and mother’s name of the person it is for, or the address of the premises, plus any note you add.
- Your order history — what you ordered, when, what you paid and where it was sent.
- Sign-in codes — if you use an account, the one-time codes we email you, stored only in a scrambled form and only until they expire.
- Basic technical data — the session cookie that remembers your basket.
What we use it for
To write your taweez, to post it to you, to email your receipt and tracking, to sign you in if you have an account, and to answer you if you contact us about an order. Nothing else.
What we never do
We do not publish the names you give us. We do not sell them, rent them, or share them with anyone for marketing. The name a taweez is written for is not sent to our payment provider — they receive only what is needed to take the payment.
Who else handles your data
- Our payment provider — takes the payment. Card details go to them directly and never reach this website.
- Our email provider — sends your receipt, tracking and sign-in codes.
- The postal service — receives the delivery address so it can deliver.
Each of these receives only what it needs to do that job.
Names of other people
Orders are often placed for a relative. If you give us someone else’s name, please make sure you have a proper basis to do so. We use it to write the taweez and for nothing else, and it is never shown publicly.
How long we keep it
Order records are kept as long as accounting requirements need. Sign-in codes are deleted as soon as they are used or expire. You can ask us to remove the personal details attached to a completed order.
Your rights
You can ask us for a copy of what we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. Write to us and we will deal with it — see contact us.
Cookies
One session cookie, which remembers what is in your basket and keeps you signed in. We also use Statcounter to count visits and see which pages are read; it records anonymised visit data such as pages viewed and browser type. There is no advertising cookie on this site.
Security
Traffic is encrypted. Sign-in codes are stored scrambled rather than in plain text, expire quickly, and are limited in how many times they can be tried.
